How Do I Get Started As A Whitelabel Agency?

Modified on Fri, 09 Jul 2021 at 02:22 PM

The whitelabel plan is not open to everyone. A consultation is required for anyone interested in the whitelabel program in order to ensure that it is a right fit for both parties. During this consultation, the setup process will be described. It takes manual work for both parties in order to get set up, so please allow for one to two weeks before your whitelabel is up and running.

The process follows these steps:

  1. Signing the Agreements: We require a digital signature of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents.

  2. Checklist: The checklist helps us to fill out your whitelabel agency profile. Once we receive the completed checklist, we will provide a custom TXT record to be added to your DNS settings. It includes:

    1. Your CASTANET email address.

    2. The brand name you’d like to use.

    3. The subdomain you would like to use (format will be app.subdomain.com)

    4. Your brand logo, as a PNG file with a transparent background.

    5. Title for the browser tab (50-60 characters, usually brand + tagline)

    6. Primary brand color, as a hex value

    7. Support email address.

    8. Profile in your agency’s account that you would allow us to use for the app approval demo video with Google.

  3. Enter an “A” Record in DNS settings: To set up the subdomain, please enter an “A” record in your DNS settings. Please contact us for instructions if needed.

  4. Validate Domain Ownership: When we create your custom Google app to be run on your domain, Google requires verification of domain ownership.

  5. CASTANET Sets Up Whitelabel Platform: With the checklist, we will customize the app for your domain.

  6. Google App Approval: The final step in this process is Google App Approval. We will need to use the profile you listed in the checklist for a quick demonstration video of your app to show the Google team. The video will include a demo campaign (which will not run) and will show the Google Drive authentication and the Google Sheets synchronization. The profile we use will not be affected in any way.

  7. Post-Approval: As soon as Google approves the app, please open the Credentials page in each profile to disconnect and re-authenticate your Google Drive account. This is required because a different Google app is now being used to sync data to your Google Sheets.

All finished! Enjoy your new whitelabel account and let us know if you develop any questions. Happy money-making!
