Targeting Option: People Who Engaged with a LinkedIn Post

Modified on Fri, 09 Jul 2021 at 10:24 AM

You’ve probably heard that the best people to target are the ones who already interact with content either through likes, comments, or shares. With CASTANET, you can target those exact people who interact with a particular post!

To create a campaign based on People who engaged with a LinkedIn Post, follow these steps:

  1. First, log into a LinkedIn profile and type a keyword into the LinkedIn search box at the top of the page.

  2. Next, use the category filters at the top and choose the “Posts” filter.

  1. The search results will populate with various related posts. When you find one that you feel has interactions from people who might be fitting for your particular campaign, click the three dots in the upper right corner of the post to open the dropdown menu.

  1. Then, choose the “Copy link to post” option from the dropdown menu.

  1. Back in CASTANET, open the “Campaigns” page and choose to “Create New Campaign.”

  1. Within the “Who do you want to target” form, select “People who engaged with a LinkedIn post”

  1. In the next form, you’ll see a field titled “LinkedIn URL”. Paste the URL that you just copied from LinkedIn here.

  1. After pasting the URL, you may also choose to include people who liked the post, people who commented on the post, or both.

  1. Press the “Next” button to generate your CASTANET prospect list. This will take roughly 1 minute per 100 prospects.
